2022
- India defeated Australia by six wickets in the third T20I in Hyderabad to win the three-match series 2-1.
- Virat Kohli has now become India's second-highest run-scorer in international cricket. With his 63(48) against Australia in the third T201, Kohli took his tally of runs in international cricket for India to 24,078 runs. He overtook Rahul Dravid, who scored 24,064 runs for India. Only Sachin Tendulkar (34,357 runs) has scored more runs for India than Kohli in international cricket.

- 2020 - Farmers across the country protesting (Bharat Bandh) against the new farmers' bill passed in Lok Sabha & Rajya Sabha by the Modi Govt for non-assurance of MSP (Minimum Support Price for farmers' produce) and indirectly allowing big corporates to set price for the farm produce.

- 2019 - INDW(India Women) won by 11 runs against SAW(South Africa Women) in the T20I 1 of 5 match series. India now leads by 1-0.
- 2019 - Payal Jangid, a 17-year-old campaigner against child labour and child marriage in Rajasthan was given "The change maker award" by Bill and Melinda gates foundation. Jangid received the award from Amina J Mohammed, deputy secretary-general of the UN.
- 2019 - Prime Minister Narendra Modi was awarded with "The global goalkeeper award" by Bill and Melinda gates foundation.
- 2019 - Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurates Gandhi solar Park at UN, New York in presence of UN secretary-general Antonio Guterres. India had donated $1 Million for this Gandhi Solar Park.
