A celebrated trip to Goa

What's this Goa? I’d say a CREED. A place which reminisces of semi-naked foreigners looking best in tan,light-coloured brownish beach sand..Those waves, which can nowhere be described, but only felt by mere feet drenched in saline Goan waters. The view, it was rainy June month, a time when Goa is believed to be almost DEAD, but it surprised me, there was something I felt on standing at Baga beach, can not be described. For a fraction of seconds, amidst the high tide, the foggy sky and those cool breezy waves, I felt like being in paradise. I could have been there forever. The world has so much to offer, the Eiffel Tower at Paris, the Colosseum of Rome, the infamous Liberty statue of the USA, and the symbol of love The Taj Mahal. I was assured of one thing, be it any season, Goa never disappoints. The prime reason for travel was to visit my Kuldeva temple(holy deity) at Zambavali, South Goa. Do visit this place if you wanna get a taste of a country home, the native Goa.

I found love in friend

I found love in friend I’m trying another hand to write a poem, First I wanna write about your eyes Have never seen somethng as beautiful as them shining n twinkling like stars in the night sky as blue and deep as the ocean at times I wish I could drown my heartbeat stops , there is no motion time n tide stops, I can't hear a sound Such expressive they are, as by God, they’re carved A day when I dont see them, I feel so starved Always have liked you with your open hair, Such cuteness, such elegance,  isn't at all fair You said you are a bird, and I’m a tree I am bounded but you are free The bird came to the tree to find some solace scared to give shelter, the tree refused a place The bird cried, as it wanted to stay The tree shed its branches, pushing the bird away The tree prays for autumn bird prays for spring In a hope to find a home, bird still flaps its wings you found friend in

I will always be the last, for you - English Poem

I will always be the Last, for you The value of my love lost in things Worthy of my commandments are nothing!! Despite many efforts I am dragged back My soul has ripped apart and I am theft!! It's just the feeling I want you and I to share In between comes thy past and makes me bare!! Am I that cruel on this special day Or is it life who is playing this game every day!! Peeking within myself I wanna recover My past is clinching me and my present is over!! Future is nowhere near to be assumed I am falling in the pit where nothing is presumed!! Crying and begging for the sins of my past... Even though I win the game I'll always be the last for you, I'll always be the last you!!! Poet:- Pooja Prabhu

Bodh Gaya blast and Security measures

It becomes very evident with the ongoing communal strife in Myanmar, between the Rohingya Muslims and Buddhists that some Muslim radicals may plan for an avenge in Indian continent and especially to Buddhist locations like Bodh Gaya . According to some reports union, the home ministry had already alerted the Bihar govt for the possible terror attack at the Buddhist shrines and Tibetan settlements. This recent attack may not be called a callous nature of Nitish Govt, but it should also be noted that state Govt's and even the central Govt. takes the IB reports very negligently, else many attacks like this at Mahabodhi Temple , Bodh Gaya, Bihar and attacks in Hyderabad, AP, Taj Hotel, CST, Mumbai could have been averted very easily. Talking to security measures, security at Mahabodhi temple was inadequate and found insufficient to handle terror attacks of any kind even after the centre's advisory over the communal strife at Myanmar and the terror attack possibilities at Buddhi

Know all about board game Ludo

Pachisi, Chausar, Chopad or popularly known as Ludo is an ancient Indian game, which per some historians Mughal Emperor Akbar was addicted to and used to play with real people instead of plastic buttons or plastic statue miniatures, the game has now become a strategy game and are taught at business schools. On August 29, 1891, Alfred Collier had applied for a patent in England, claiming that a board game, which he named Royal Ludo, was his invention. Since then the game became popular worldwide by the name we know today. Later on, the British Royal Navy converted it into a board game called ‘Uckers’. According to some historians this board game of Ludo or pachisi originates in India as far back as 3300 BC. The exact origins of this legendary game though seems uncertain, but some earliest proofs of this game comes from the historic Ellora Caves in Maharashtra, where the board game was depicted in the form illustrations on the wall. This seems to suggest that Ludo was an Indian creation.
