2019 - India’s first indigenous beyond visual range air-to-air missile (BVRAAM) fighter, 'Astra', is now finally ready for induction into the Indian Air Force, with the DRDO expecting the IAF to initially order at least 200 missiles for its Sukhoi-30MKI jets.
2019 - On this day (29 September 2016), the Indian Army & Indian Air Force (IAF) conducted their "first" Surgical Strikes against militant launch pads across the Line of Control in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
