  • 2019 - India’s first indigenous beyond visual range air-to-air missile (BVRAAM) fighter, 'Astra', is now finally ready for induction into the Indian Air Force, with the DRDO expecting the IAF to initially order at least 200 missiles for its Sukhoi-30MKI jets.
  • 2019 - On this day (29 September 2016), the Indian Army & Indian Air Force (IAF) conducted their "first" Surgical Strikes against militant launch pads across the Line of Control in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).

Medical College, Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh.  Dr Kafeel Khan had to serve 9 months in Jail due to false accusations & charges implied on him by the Uttar Pradesh Govt for negligence in duty, due to which 63 infants died (in the year 2016) due to encephalitis and lack of Oxygen cylinder in the BRD Hospital, Gorakhpur. All the charges implied on him were found baseless and false by Allahabad Court and absolved him on any Charges after 2 Years, Court instead hails him for the proactive actions he took to save the lives of children.
