Tally Solutions is a software company which sells products like Tally Software, Tally ERP 9, Tally Developer 9, Tally Server 9 and Shoper 9. 
Tally software is a business accounting solution and is mainly used for creating Vouchers, Financial transactions and statements, Taxation and Billings in Industries and retail units. Tally Enterprise are generally used in big manufacturing industries and Tally retail is used in almost every retails units in India and many other countries. 
Tally solutions sells its product to more than 100 countries including Middle East, UK, US, Bangladesh and U.A.E.
 
Tally Software was developed by the late Shyam Sundar Goenka and his son Bharat Goenka in the year 1986 under the name of a company headed by S.S Goenka himself Peutronics. Currently Bharat Goenka is the Managing Director of the company and the company head quartered at Bangalore India.
Company has an annual turnover of US $90 million (2011- 2012). 
Tally Solutions won many national and International awards for this cost-effective accounting Package. Bharat Goenka has also been awarded the first NASSCOM's Lifetime achievement award to mark the Tally software to be the "father of Indian Software products".

From it's development the company has won many awards including:

  • Best accounting and Inventory Management software award by  Windows Magazine in the year 2005
  • Users Choice award by PC Quest for 1994-2005
  • Bhoomi Brand award by 360 Magazine2005-2006.
  • Star Nite award for Best Financial Software by VARIndia 2006
  • Golden Rhino award by 360 Magazine for consecutive 4 years 2004, 05, 06 and 2007.
Tally Software has also been accredited by Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). The software is currently the leading software used in retail sectors in India.
