"My vision is a violence free society, disease free body, confusion free mind, inhibition free intellect, trauma free memory and sorrow free soul which is the birth right of every individual."

"A wise one is happy even in bad times. And the stupid one is unhappy even in good times."

Tricolour as dp of Facebook, whatsApp or Twitter

It's around few days you surely would have noticed your friends putting their whatsapp DP as national flag of India, or tricolour as the cover pic or profile pic on Facebook or Twitter. It's already in trend to set tricolour as DP on our online profiles.
But did you know, much recently this kind of display of our tricolour was illegal and it's not long when an Industrialist and Congress MP Naveen Jindal had filed a PIL to allow Indians to display their flags as their entity or icon of groups. Supreme Court gave judgement in favor of Naveen Jindal and made a law named 'Flag code of India 2002' which says "The Flag Code of India 2002 permits unrestricted display of the tricolour, consistent with the honour and dignity of the flag,", ruling out the previous law which says   "using Indian flag (sic) as entity or group symbol, icon or in any form of title representation is illegal under the Prevention of Insults to National Flag Act, 1971."

Bharat Ratna to Atal Bihar Vajpayee and Subhash Chandra Bose 2014

The highest civilian award Bharat Ratna conferred in India to people for their exceptional service or performance of highest order. The last year 2013 Chemical Scientist Prof. CNR Rao and Indian cricketer Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar have conferred the award. Sachin had become the youngest to receive this award. In the nominee list for this award were former hockey player Major Dhyanchand, Prof CNR Rao and Sachin Tendulkar.
This year the speculation is rife for Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Subhash Chandra Bose to be honoured with the highest civilian award. If AB Vajpayee gets honoured with the award he will be the 44th recipient of the award since it's launch 2nd January 1954. The first people to get honoured with Bharat Ratna on the same year, 1954 were C. Rajagopalachari, Eminent Scientist Prof CV Raman and First Vice President of India Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.
We wish both Ab Vajpayee and Subhash Chandra Bose to be conferred with Bharat Rathna this year. Generally, prime Minister of …

Being an Indian citizen it becomes our fundamental duty to learn and recite our national anthem the way its lyricist Shri Rabindra Nath Tagore coined it and hoped the whole nation would recite the same way ever after with its core meaning intact.

So, here I thought to present our National Anthem word by word with its actual meaning. Please, everyone, try to understand the meaning and pronounce it perfectly, please don't sing like our corrupt politicians.

Second week of August celebrated as Sanskrit week

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has decided to celebrate the second week of August as the Sanskrit week.

It's really a good step in promoting one of the oldest languages in the world. Sanskrit is not only one of the oldest language in the world but it's also the most suited language for computers as was published on Times Magazine in the year 1988 and was suggested by most of the computer scientists of that time.
We from "Namaste India" request all our readers and especially the Indian readers to post in Sanskrit, single line, para or even a statement to mark this week as the Sanskrit week.

Sanskrit is our language and we only should feel it a responsibility to give our Vedas language a status it deserves.

I hope each reader who reading this would surely post a status on Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp or any social network in Sanskrit just to show his/her love for the language of Sanskrit.

10 steps to reduce inflation in India

Modi Govt vs Inflation.
Now they say they don't have enough govt reserve to subsidise even the basic items. They can't give subsidy over diesel, LPG, fertilisers and hence they can't control increasing inflation at least for short term they have nothing in their hand to control.
So, here we have collected some advice and suggestions if they could implement.
10 steps to reduce inflation in India.
1. Stop black marketing and hoardings, take strict actions against black marketers. 2. Develop good inventory and release food stock reserves in the market and look for fair distribution among needy. 3. Stop giving subsidy to rich farmers who in no terms need subsidy over fertilisers, give subsidy only to them who needs it. This subsidy amounts to around 68000 crores. 4. Why there is a subsidy to crores of rich people who don't need subsidy of Rs 450/-per cylinder. Which causes loss of 56000 crores each year. 5. Implement strict rules to collect taxes, it has been evident that…

Narendra Modi Vs freedom of speech and expression

Not sure why so many students getting arrested for their dissent over Narendra Modi. Are we Indian losing our freedom of speech and freedom of expression after Narendra Modi has been elected the PM of India. Almost daily we are listening one or two people getting arrested over making some remarks against Modi. Our constitution allows us to express our views without any restriction, we Indians have the right to regulate the right to speech and expression, we have the freedom of speech and expression.
But Ironically i feel, Modi wouldn't have the slightest knowledge over these arrests. I'm very sure Narendra Modi personally feel bad over these arrests and all these arrests some of which may be genuine but some arrest have been made just to defame Modi. Police would be making these arrest under some political pressures and of course BJP or Modi is not at all involved. I hope Modi will take heed of this issue and will STOP these kind of arrest of innocents and clear out the rumour …

Sirish Apte has the solution to irrigation problem in India

Sirish Apte of Bhandara village in Maharashtra, an executive engineer by profession reached the state govt of Maharashtra to take over the charge of maintaining Malguzaari.
Malguzaari is a small pond surrounded by mud walls, just like tanks. Since 1950 after the abolishment of Zamindari/Malguzaari system these water tanks or Malguzaars got abandoned as the Malguzaars came under state-owned areas and govt never paid heed to maintain these.  Sirish Apte belonging to a Malguzaar family had to interest in water conservation approached the Supreme Court and asked govt to maintain these Malguzaars as maintaining these Malguzaars can be very helpful to irrigation to nearby areas.  Sirish in the year 2008 first involved into cleaning and maintaining these tanks, he walled the tanks thick and de-silted the pond by removing fine sands which again were used as fertilisers as these are rich in phosphorous and nitrogen. Sirish for the first time made a Malguzaar in Janbhora village 35 km from Bha…

Are we really a developing and progressing India

Are we not developing, of course we are! We are now a recognised future super power, a developed nation soon. What not we have? We are now into almost every sector grown and known to the world. We are the 2nd largest army, we are 4th into aerospace, we are only next to US and china in terms of economy. We are the second fastest growing nation in the world.
But again we are the nation of largest slums, we are the nation of largest illiterate and forgotten tribals. We are still somewhere in 13th century mindset where women have no right to live, they are a toy to be played with and thrown away. We are still an accepting mindset of khaps, goons and tyranny. What happened with two sisters in badayun, couples in duwariya, single woman in Amethi and many many more are enough to shame us and made us realise how developing we are.  A lady conductor in full public view is beaten and made unconscious not in any small village, town or city but in the biggest metropolitan city of our country, claime…

Know about Nitesh Saxena

A research headed by an Indian origin scientist at Alabama University in Birmingham working on a secure login which would end the need of password system in unlocking laptops, desktops or cars.
This zero interaction authentication system would work with proximity, users security token and mobile number verification. Users wouldn't need to enter a password instead their proximity to the device will be sensed and the required device will be unlocked.

Though it's a secure way login it's vulnerable to hackers who can trick it through relay attacks. According to Nitesh Saxena, the associate professor in the department of computer and information science this system can be made perfectly secured using sensor modalities that are commonly present on devices: wi-fi, Bluetooth, GPS and audio. Secondly by utilising the capabilities of using ambient physical sensors as a proximity detection mechanism and focusing mainly on ambient temperature, precision gas, humidity and altitude the…

Don't turn blind to everything else

Following someone is good, if you found someone eligible enough for it, but following it blindly, ignoring everything else which may not be good enough, seems sceptical.

There certainly is a Modi wave all around, everyone seems to be talking for Modi, why not, he is good, he has presented a well versed Model and has shown the 125+ year old political system, how to govern and what should be termed a perfect role model in politics. He did in 10 years what hadn't been done by the single largest party for 60 years, he is perfectly eligible to be hailed and boasted for his work.

But is it reasonable to support for everything he does, is it good to term him God, is it good to add prefix "Har Har" which is considered embroidered only for Lord Shiva.
Is it humane that a man left his wife unrecognized for 47 years(3 lifetime) till he was certain to be the PM of India and as soon as he came to know that he gonna be the PM of India, he recalled a past and suddenly he got a wife ou…

Why do we say Bless you, when someone sneezes

When do we use these words? more often when a person sneezes. But why do we say "bless you"?

Let's explore the reason.

In the year 1665-66 in England, there happened a great plague. It was a Bubonic plague which is usually transmitted through the bite of an infected rat. This plague was so barbaric that it took almost 10,000 lives i.e. about 15% of the population of England. The final - fatal symptom of the Black Death was Sneezing and Coughing. So when a person sneezed, people surrounding him, blessed him by saying - "Bless you" (so that you are not suffering from the Great Black Death).

This word was used so frequently that it became a fashion and the next generation started following the same without being aware of the actual reason.
The description of the Great Black Death is even described in a nursery rhyme which we sang while playing. can u guess the rhyme?

I will give you a hint - " it has a line - we all fall down"
Yes. It is -"Ring - a …
