2022

South Africa defeated India by 49-runs in the third T20I in Indore. This came as India's worst-ever defeat (by runs) on Indian soil in T20I history. India's previous worst T20I defeat at home came on March 15,2016, when New Zealand defeated India by 47 runs in Nagpur. South Africa score 227/3 today, their highest-ever T20I total against India.
India recorded their highest partnership for the 9th wicket in T20I cricket history, during the third T20I against South Africa in Indore. Deepak Chahar and Umesh Yadav shared a 48-run stand to set the record. The previous record was held by Rohit Sharma and Zaheer Khan for a 36-run stand against Australia in Bridgetown in 2010.
