2019 - Indian captain Virat Kohli smashed his seventh double hundred in Test cricket during the first innings of the second Test against South Africa on 11th October 2019. With this he broke the record for most test double hundreds by an Indian, Overtaking former Indian batsmen Virender Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar, who had scored six each.
2019 - Virat Kohli crosses 150, breaks Don Bradman's 71-year-old record. Virat Kohli on 11th October 2019 in the second test against South Africa registered his ninth 150-plus score as captain, with this he broke former Australian Batsman Don Bradman's record for hitting the most 150-plus scores as captain in Test cricket. Bradman had hit eight 150-plus scores as captain in Test cricket between 1937 and 1948.
2019 - Virat Kohli becomes the first Indian player and second overall to smash 40 International hundreds as captain. Kohli achieved the feat after reaching the three-figure mark of 173 deliveries against South Africa in the second test on October 11 2019.
