  • A new corridor named "Mahakaal Lok" in Ujjain, MP inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 11.

  • Chief Justice of India U.U. Lalit nominates Justice D.Y. Chandrachud as the next CJI. CJI U.U. Lalit's term will be over by November 8, 2022. Justice Chandrachud is expected to be sworn in and assume charge as Chief Justice of India from November 9.   • Delhi off-spinner Hrithik Shokeen has created history by becoming the first-ever 'Impact Player' in Indian T20 cricket. The 22-year-old became the first tactical substitute under new rules after he replaced opener Hiten Dalal, who scored 47(27) in Delhi's Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy match on 11th October 2022. Shokeen registered figures of 3-0-13-2 as Delhi won by 71 runs.

  • The United States' first ever self-professed "Hindu-American" lawmaker of a white extract with close ties to the BJP-RSS dispensation in India quits the Democratic Party. Tulsi Gabbard, who ran for the Democratic Presidential nomination in 2020, announced on October 11, 2022, that she is leaving the party, accusing it of being dominated by woke, anti-white, warmongers. Although the US Congress has four lawmakers of Indian and Hindu origin, Gabbard claimed to be the first "Hindu-American" House Representative by virtue of having embraced the Gaudiya Vaishnavism that her American parents followed.

  • 2019 - India win the 2nd ODI by 5 wickets and take a 2-0 lead in the series in IND-W vs SA-W

  • 2019 - Indian captain Virat Kohli smashed his seventh double hundred in Test cricket during the first innings of the second Test against South Africa on 11th October 2019. With this he broke the record for most test double hundreds by an Indian, Overtaking former Indian batsmen Virender Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar, who had scored six each. 

  • 2019 - Virat Kohli crosses 150, breaks Don Bradman's 71-year-old record. Virat Kohli on 11th October 2019 in the second test against South Africa registered his ninth 150-plus score as captain, with this he broke former Australian Batsman Don Bradman's record for hitting the most 150-plus scores as captain in Test cricket. Bradman had hit eight 150-plus scores as captain in Test cricket between 1937 and 1948. 

  • 2019 - Virat Kohli becomes the first Indian player and second overall to smash 40 International hundreds as captain. Kohli achieved the feat after reaching the three-figure mark of 173 deliveries against South Africa in the second test on October 11 2019.

  • 2019 - Dutee Chand broke the national record in the 100-metre sprint event on 11th October 2019, with a time of 11.22 seconds at the National Open Athletics Championship in Ranchi. The qualification mark for the 2020 Olympics is 11.15 seconds.

  • 2019 - Delhi's second Airport, Hindon airport all set to operate the first flight on October 11. A nine-seater aircraft would fly from Hindon Airport to Pithoragarh. The company would charge ₹2,500 for each seat.

Chandrani Murmu (born: 16th June 1993), from Keonjhar, Odisha made history after winning the Lok Sabha seat from Keonjhar in Odisha.
